Northeast Indiana 4th of July- Fireworks 2010 Schedule- Independence Day Celebrations
With the holiday weekend approaching, many folks are making plans to attend our local small town celebrations and settle in for some spectacular fireworks! Here are a few places to celebrate and their schedules for this year. Some of our towns are celebrating on different days, so you can find something to do all weekend!
One of my favorite things about living in a small town in Northeast Indiana is being able to share the traditions of how celebrations used to be in the "good ol days". Reliving childhood memories and creating them for my children.... priceless!
Angola will have a parade, live music, games, and fireworks on the 4th of July.
Kendallville celebrates the holiday with activities for the kids, live music and fireworks on July 4th.
Topeka's celebration starts with a Road Run, Fun Walk and Basketball Tournament at 8:00 am. There are kids games, big wheel and pedal car races, cloggers, a parade, buggy and tractor pulls, a free concert and fireworks. Their celebration is on July 5th. This is my favorite place for the traditional celebration.
Fun on Sylvan returns to Rome City on July 3rd with many activities and the largest fireworks display in the area. We never miss the fireworks here. It is spectacular and folks travel from miles around to see it.
The town of Wolcottville will celebrate the holiday on July 4th starting with the Johnson Township Fire Department's pancake and sausage breakfast from 7-11 followed by the Wolcottville Police Department's BBQ Chicken.
